Running on empty

Reporter AnnaLise Griggs returns to Sutherton, North Carolina, in repose to a frantic telephone call when her mother's memory problems and confusion cause a harrowing mishap during the town's annual blood drive. When a rash of deaths follow, AnnaLise looks for a connection between them and her mother's strange behavior, but it could prove to be a deadly pursuit.
