Catching life by the throat

"Josephine Hart has for years been organising, conducting and directing dramatic poetry evenings with the help of some of today's most exciting stage actors. Now she has selected eight of the greatest poets in the English language - introducing their poetry by writing about their work and their lives. And as this volume is inspired by the poetry evenings, it includes a complimentary seventy-minute CD, recorded live at the British Library."--BOOK JACKET.
