To celebrate the recent centennial anniversary, this volume brings together a collection of essays regarding the Generación del 14. It is difficult to exaggerate the importance of the thus named Generation in transition to contemporary Spain. The Generación del 14 was responsible for promoting intellectual, scientific, political, and educational transformations, much more so than the Generaciones del 98 and 27, which were more artistic and literary.
