Pre-violence & impulse empathy

by Hannah Forman

SadomasochismSexMental illnessPersonal narrativesRape victimsJewish women

This yarn bound perzine addresses issues of drug dependency, sexual assault, BDSM, and top/bottom relationships. Primarily with text and a few photographs, the author gives a personal narrative of mental illness and drug dependency as well as her fascination with dom/sub and BDSM, stressing that the two are not necessarily connected. Forman states that consensual, safe, and trusting BDSM can be caring and mutually supportive, and argues that it doesn't stem from abuse. She also writes about Lydia Lunch and lists her soundtrack.
