In the second edition of Marine Science, we have built upon the success of the first edition. We have kept many of the features that made the text so popular, such as the easy-to-read design, up-to-date scientific data, and interdisciplinary focus. In the second edition we have increased the book's accessibility for English Language Learners, highlighted the interdisciplinary science skills used in the field, and introduced a broader focus on human and environmental interaction by pinpointing the impact of human interaction with marine environment.
